Spring Classics Week
OK, we’re quite aware that they don’t run the Spring Classics in the Pyrenees, but as ‘proper cycling fans’ we recognize that ‘the place to be’ in April is Belgium & Holland.
So, we’ve adding a Spring Classics package to our range of holidays. We simply ‘transplant’ our support, logistics and expertise up to Belgium for 8-9 days and look forward to welcoming you if you’d like to get a real, close-up taste of what makes Classics riding such a fundamental part of this great sport of ours.

We will rent a large country property suited to providing a ‘PyrActif experience’ away from the Pyrenees. We’ll mix day-trips to watch key sections of the racing, with several days of guided/supported riding. So you’ll have your own opportunity to try riding on the cobbles and to pit yourself against mythical climbs like the Cauberg or the Mur de Huuy.
We’ll provide all our usual back-up and support, but in a different location to our summer haunts. So, your trip will include:
Airport or ferry-port transfers
6 nights accommodation in the country property; two nights in a 3-star hotel
Great home-cooked catering - 8 breakfasts & 5 evening meals. Three nights at restaurants on a 'pay-as-you-go' basis
Minibus transfers to key vantage points on race days
Guided rides on the days before Fleche-Wallonne & Liege-Bastogne-Liege. You can ride parts of the race courses at the same time that the top pros are riding their own pre-race recce. In 2010 we climbed the Muur de Huy in the company of rainbow-jersey wearing World Champion, Cadel Evans - albeit he dropped us rather easily once the chit-chat was done with!

The dates for this trip will be aligned with the UCI calendar, putting us in position to watch all three Ardennes classics - namely the Amstel Gold Race,La Fleche Wallonne and Liege-Bastogne-Liege. If you can't make it for the whole week, then we'll be offering 2-race packages to cover Fleche-Wallonne plus either of the other events.
The 8-night option to join us at all three races is priced at £795
A 4-night option departing after Fleche-Wallonne costs £495
A 4-night option arriving on the morning of Fleche-Wallonne & departing after Liege-Bastogne-Liege, costs £525
