Route & Profiles

Day 1 – Arrive to Toulouse or Carcassonne airport. Transfer to start hotel; bike build; warm-up ride; pre-trip briefing & dinner.


Day 2 – Carcassonne to Prades (128km; 2100m of height gained) via 4-5 Category 3/4 cols

Day 3 – Prades to Tarascon (115km; 3000m of height gained) via the Col de Jau, Col de Garabeil and Port de Pailheres

 

Day 4 – Tarascon to Bertren (128km; 2500m of height gained) via the Col de Port, Col de Portet d'Aspet and Col de Mente

 

Day 5 – Rest day or ‘col bagging’ near to Bertren


Day 6 – Bertren to St Marie de Campan (100km; 3000m of height gained) via Port de Bales, Peyresourde & Aspin

 

Day 7 – St Marie to Gurmencon (138km; 3400m of height gained). Via the Tourmalet, Aubisque & Marie Blanque.

               End-of-trip celebratory dinner.

 

Day 8 – Gurmencon to Pau or Toulouse airport
